Big Sean is facing some pretty big charges. According to The Wall Street Journal the 23-year-old Detroit rapper is being accused of having sexually assaulted a woman during a concert with Wiz Khalifa in upstate New York.

Police charged Sean— government Sean Anderson—with misdemeanor counts of forcible touching, unlawful imprisonment and sex abuse. The incident is also said to have been a tag team with a second man, Willie Hansbro, facing identical charges.

Cops received word of the alleged altercation just before 10 p.m. this past Thursday at Artpark State Park.

Both Sean and Hansboro were issued appearance tickets and released on $500 bail. They’re scheduled in Niagara County Court in the town of Lewiston on Sept. 6.

UPDATE → Statement released by Big Sean’s lawyer, Scott E. Leemon defending his client’s innocence:

“Last night, recording artists, Sean “Big Sean” Anderson and Willie “Sayitainttone” Hansbro were arrested and then immediately released by the NY State Police in connection with an allegation made by a female who was at their concert in Lewiston, New York. Both men were charged with misdemeanors and they both vehemently deny the allegations. I am confident, that after further investigation, both men will be vindicated.”
